Sizing and slab limits
Large islands can exceed the dimensions of a single slab. When that happens the choice is a planned seam or a different material with larger sheet sizes. We work that out before you commit to a stone.
Supporting an overhang
Overhangs past roughly 12 inches need hidden steel brackets or corbels. Skipping support is a common cause of cracked island tops.
Waterfall panels
A waterfall end runs the stone down to the floor with a mitered corner. Getting the veining to continue around that corner takes deliberate slab layout during fabrication.
